Chris Privitere makes a guest appearance to remind everyone that EA Origin is fine now, resident Pokexpert Deimosion has an armful of Black/White 2 news, and SiliconNooB is driven to distraction when a watercooler lacks sufficient architectural beauty.

  1. @SN: This was actually a hard one to come up with. I spent several minutes thinking of adjectives before I settled on contemptible.

    @EP: Not Black & White 2, you dolt! D’oh!

  2. This podcast has made me want to reinstall Alan Wake on my PC just to find one of these water coolers, since a google search turned up nothing. I mean, clearly they’re of such an offensive quality that the shear spectacle of it warrants a reinstall. I got pretty far into the main campaign before letting the game sit, and just never finished it. You know, it may have been because of a subtle nagging presence of something dissatisfying…it must have been the water coolers!

  3. @Mel: I think Julian is simply offended by water coolers which contain water rather than beer.

  4. Just finished Alan Wake last night, a truly magnificent experience – the actual game part could stand to be better, but the ending is moderately sublime, and then the two post-end episodes are something strange and special.
