Lusipurr and SiliconNooB discuss the announcement of further Wii U titles for the Nintendo Switch, the latest twist in the Crytek vs. Cloud Imperium saga, the launch of free Ni No Kuni 2 DLC, and both normal and Australian ways to deal with Game Fatigue.

  1. Ni No Kuni 2 looks pretty good but, I don’t know if I have time for such a long RPG nowadays.

  2. @Reetin: NNK2 isn’t over long. I believe I put 40ish hours into it before the credit rolled, but I spent a fair amount of time on side content. Doing the critical path plus a bit of grinding would put the game in the 30-40 hour range.

  3. Is the Australian way to deal with gaming fatigue not just to increase intake levels of alcohol? I thought that was how all problems were solved there.

  4. In the Pixar film Ratatouille. Anton Ego (what a name), tells the protagonist after having his love of food questioned due to his thin stature. He states. “I love food, if I don’t love it, I don’t swallow.” While it was delivered with a sneering tone its actually really good advice in a modern world with so much available. With a trillion books, movies, and video games at our finger tips, one should only consume the very best.

  5. @RabidKitten: Exactly! We are spoiled for choice these days, and with so many excellent games from the past also waiting to be played, there’s no reason to spend time on anything that isn’t magnificent!
